Job summary

SEI Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer II, Data Scientist to join the Enterprise Artificial Intelligence team in the USA (PA). The role targets a highly technical builder focused on AI innovation, enterprise-scale solutions, and measurable business impact.

You will architect and deploy AI systems, including LLM-powered applications, RAG pipelines, and autonomous agents, while ensuring governance and security considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of Python development skills with solid software engineering and enterprise architecture.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications in production.
• Experience with RAG, vector databases, embedding models and semantic search.
• Familiarity with AI governance, security and enterprise deployment considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and develop enterprise-grade AI applications leveraging LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks.
• Build production-ready AI solutions from concept to deployment, driving adoption.
• Develop intelligent assistants, copilots, autonomous agents, and knowledge systems.
• Design and optimize RAG pipelines, vector databases, and semantic search solutions.
• Implement APIs, orchestration layers, and backend services for enterprise AI capabilities.
• Stay current on Generative AI advancements and enterprise AI architecture.
