Job summary

WTW is actively seeking an AI Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and operate production-grade AI solutions inside large enterprise environments. You will translate business needs into deployed AI workflows, connect enterprise systems, and ensure solutions are reliable, secure, cost-effective, and adopted by users.

This role emphasizes hands-on software engineering, LLM pipelines, retrieval pipelines, agentic workflows, and observability of distributed systems.

Qualifications

Significant professional experience in software engineering, technical leadership, solutions architecture, or platform engineering.

Responsibilities

Design and build AI-enabled applications, copilots, agents, extraction pipelines, prediction interfaces, and decision-support tools.
Work directly with business teams to translate real workflows into technical solutions.
Build and tune LLM workflows, prompt strategies, schema-driven extraction, and agent orchestration.
Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, data platforms, and observability tools.
Ensure reliability, scalability, latency, and cost control of AI solutions.
Create evaluation datasets, tests, and quality workflows to measure accuracy and usefulness.
Define architecture and engineering standards for AI-enabled platforms.
Prepare structured/unstructured data and design retrieval strategies.
Embed security, privacy, and governance into the delivery lifecycle.
Provide demos, pilots, training, and documentation to enable adoption.
