Handshake is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join Handshake AI Enterprise in San Francisco. You will own the full stack, building production-grade AI agents, defining solutions from real business needs, and deploying them inside enterprise environments.

You’ll work with product and platform engineers, design evals, and drive measurable improvements in AI performance, ownership, and impact for customers across industries.

Qualificações

• 5–6+ years of engineering experience, full-stack with strong backend depth.
• Real-world experience shipping AI applications in production.
• Strong understanding of agent architectures, evals, and measuring AI performance.
• Comfort working with enterprise customers in high-stakes environments.

Responsabilidades

• Embed with enterprise customers as part of deployment team and understand their workflows.
• Define AI-driven solutions based on real business needs.
• Build and deploy production-grade agents for specific use cases.
• Design and run evals to measure agent performance and iteratively improve.
• Collaborate with Product and Platform engineers to ship cohesive solutions.
• Surface deployment insights to inform platform roadmap.
