TEKsystems is seeking a Senior AI Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer for a hybrid role in Phoenix, AZ. Earn $80-$85/hr on a W2, with a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering or product engineering experience.
- Experience shipping production software with Python/Java/Go/TypeScript/C#/similar.
- Hands-on experience building AI applications in production.
- Experience developing AI agents from scratch and integrating with tools and enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, agent architectures, and prompt engineering.
- Experience with MCP, skills, tools, harnesses, or similar AI ecosystems.
- Strong system design and architectural skills.
- Ability to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience working directly with product teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify AI-driven transformation opportunities.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into scalable architectures and production-ready solutions.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, agents, and intelligent workflows.
- Build production-grade solutions using LLMs, agents, MCPs, and AI frameworks.
- Prototype and iterate to validate business value and gather stakeholder feedback.
- Evaluate approaches and choose effective implementation strategies.
