Scale AI is hiring a Forward Deployed AI Engineer in New York City to act as a technical bridge between AI capabilities and strategic customers. The engineer will work hands-on, architect solutions, and guide enterprise clients to empower their AI integration.
The ideal candidate has over 4 years of software engineering experience, production Python expertise, and strong problem-solving skills. This full-time position offers a compensation range of $180,000 to $225,000 annually, alongside comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of software engineering experience with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Production Python expertise with experience in modern ML/AI frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms and modern data infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with enterprise customers to understand their technical infrastructure.
- Design and implement custom integrations between Scale AI's platform and customer data environments.
- Build robust data connectors and ETL pipelines.
- Deploy and configure AI models within customer security boundaries.
