Job summary

TEKsystems in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Data Scientist / Forward Deployed Engineer to drive AI transformation initiatives. You will partner with stakeholders to translate needs into production AI solutions, build agents and copilots, and guide adoption across the enterprise.

You will deploy AI systems leveraging LLMs and modern tooling, influencing enterprise AI strategy, and delivering measurable business impact in a hybrid, Phoenix-based role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI applications in production.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and enterprise AI architectures.
• Experience developing AI agents from scratch and integrating tools and services.
• Experience with agent frameworks, orchestration platforms, MCPs and AI ecosystems.
• Strong system design and architecture skills.
• Ability to decompose complex business problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities
