MLabs Ltd is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the technical customer journey from discovery through production deployment for enterprise AI solutions. The role combines strategic collaboration with product, sales, and engineering teams to deliver high-value, production-grade AI systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in customer-facing engineering, hands-on AI experience with LLMs, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, and is comfortable working in a hybrid environment with US/Europe

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in forward deployed/solutions engineering with end-to-end customer ownership.
• Experience building AI-powered applications with model APIs, retrieval architectures, and production deployments.
• Strong ability to evaluate trade-offs across client needs, product features, engineering complexity, cost, and latency.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Rust, React/TypeScript, SQL, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and production observability.

Responsabilités

• End-to-End AI Deployments: manage engagements from discovery to production adoption.
• Pre-Sales & Solution Architecture: lead technical discovery and design tailored AI solutions.
• Post-Sales Technical Execution: build and integrate production AI systems for clients.
• Production AI Systems Engineering: develop scalable AI apps using LLMs, tool calling, and RAG.
• Product Optimization & Feedback Loops: extract insights to improve products and reusable components.
• Proactive Problem Solving: identify opportunities and drive architectural decisions independently.
