Job summary

Echos in New York is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to work directly with a leading pharmaceutical client. This is a hands-on, client-facing engineering role for builders who ship production AI solutions from prototype to deployment.

You will design and deploy AI agents on enterprise data, collaborate with client teams on site, and orchestrate models across AWS, Azure, Palantir Foundry, Databricks. Strong Python skills and ML frameworks required.

Qualifications

• Experience building AI agents, including orchestration and multi-step reasoning.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI/data workloads on at least one major cloud/enterprise platform (AWS, Azure, Palantir Foundry, or Databricks).
• Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, able to work directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Builder's mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and end-to-end ownership.
• Experience deploying AI/ML systems in production enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents on enterprise data from concept to production.
• Work on site with the client's teams to understand problems and deliver solutions.
• Fine-tune and orchestrate models for real-world enterprise use cases.
• Architect and deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, Palantir Foundry, and Databricks.
• Translate business problems into technical solutions and iterate based on feedback.
• Communicate progress clearly to engineers and executives.
