Job summary

Lavendo, Inc. partners with startups to hire top-tier sales, GTM, and technical talent for client deployments in San Francisco or New York City. As Forward Deployed Engineer, you will own enterprise deployments from first conversations to a working system in production.

You will understand customer processes, make architecture decisions, write code, lead rollouts, and stay close to results with executives and operators. Expect ~60 hours per week, on-site in SF or NYC, with relocation if needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineering experience with production applications.
• Ability to independently build and ship a full-stack application.
• Experience taking unclear problems through architecture, implementation, and delivery.
• Strong communication skills with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Map customer workflows and turn requirements into implementation plans.
• Write production code and build reliable automations on the client platform.
• Design implementations for high-volume enterprise processes.
• Own discovery, pilot delivery, production rollout, and iteration.
• Resolve deployment issues and drive customer adoption.
• Explain technical decisions to operators, engineers, and executives.
• Identify automation opportunities and scale deployments.
• Turn lessons into reusable deployment patterns and platform improvements.
