Lavendo is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer (Post‑Sales) for a fast‑growing AI infrastructure client in San Mateo. You’ll be the technical owner of strategic enterprise accounts, guiding onboarding, deployment and production rollout from day one and helping define post‑sales playbooks.

Work across AWS, GCP, Azure and on‑prem/hybrid environments, translating ambiguous customer requirements into concrete architecture while applying hands‑on ML/model training expertise to deliver measurable

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of post‑sales deployments owning customer deployments.
• Hands‑on ML and model training experience with measurable results.
• Real experience deploying software into enterprise customer infrastructure.
• Strong Python proficiency and AWS proficiency.
• Ability to translate ambiguous customer requirements into concrete architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end onboarding, deployment, and production rollout for strategic accounts.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for accounts, building long‑term relationships.
• Design scalable workflows across AWS, GCP, Azure, and on‑prem Kubernetes.
• Translate real customer requirements into concrete architecture and problem framing.
• Build post‑sales processes and playbooks from 0→1 for scalable adoption.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Research to inform the product roadmap.
• Travel to customer sites as needed (≈15%).
