Job summary

monday.com is seeking a Deployment Architect to join our Professional Services team in New York. You will own the architecture for the most complex AI deployments, lead technical discovery, design solutions, estimate work, and support the sale of technical services, then drive delivery with engineers.

This hybrid role requires deep AI architecture expertise, data integration, security governance, and strong customer-facing skills to translate business needs into scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years as a solutions architect or forward-deployed engineer in enterprise software.
• Depth in AI architecture, including agentic systems, LLM workflows, tool use, and retrieval design.
• Experience defining AI quality, evaluation, guardrails, and observability.
• Enterprise data architecture with ETL, migrations, conversions, and AI readiness awareness.
• Fluency across API and event-driven integration, REST/GraphQL/webhooks/SAML2.0/OAuth2.0.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery for scoping new AI deployments and qualifying opportunities.
• Design advanced AI architecture on the monday AI work platform across agents, context, and data layers.
• Architect scope for integrations, data migrations, and custom interfaces.
• Estimate effort and consumption impact to avoid misallocated capacity.
• Partner with sales to sell forward-deployed engineering services to execs.
• Produce design documents, diagrams, and workflow artifacts for delivery.
• Translate design into delivery with forward-deployed consultants and engineers.
• Own technical delivery standards covering architecture, security, governance, and scalability.
• Build estimation models and reusable libraries to streamline scoping.
• Serve as technical authority and mentor the delivery team, engaging with Product as needed.
