Job summary

Elios AI in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Forward Deployed Specialist to sit inside enterprise accounts and turn AI capability into production software. You'll split time between understanding customer problems and shaping the codebase.

You'll embed with customers, design fitting solutions, build and ship LLM-powered apps, integrate with legacy systems, run pilots to production, and handle security and procurement questions while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and shipping production software with Python and APIs.
• Experience deploying and operating on AWS, GCP or Azure, with containers and observability.
• Integration experience across enterprise systems, data platforms, and identity/authentication.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions engineering or professional services.
• Nice-to-have: regulated environments, MCP/agent frameworks, startup delivery playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Embed with enterprise customers to map workflows, data, and constraints and design fitting solutions.
• Build and ship LLM-powered applications and agentic workflows across retrieval, tool integration, orchestration, and evaluation.
• Wire into customer systems including legacy APIs, on-prem data stores, SSO, and enterprise auth.
• Run pilots and expansions from workshop to production cutover.
• Write evals to verify system readiness for handover.
• Translate between business language and engineering team, earning trust on both sides.
• Provide deployment feedback to product to reduce heroics.
• Handle security reviews, data handling requirements, and procurement questions.
