Job summary

Cogent Security is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to own the full sales cycle across large enterprise accounts. This remote role is based within Southern California and requires strong local market knowledge and established CISO relationships.

You will lead technical evaluations, build ROI-based business cases, and close multi-year complex agreements while coordinating with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in B2B quota carrying sales, including 5+ years in cybersecurity.
• Proven track record of exceeding quota in six-figure deals spanning multiple years.
• Existing CISO relationships in Southern California and ability to self-source pipeline.
• Technical credibility across security, cloud, and AI with the ability to translate ROI to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the territory and exceed ARR targets across large enterprise accounts.
• Build pipeline through outbound, executive relationships, channel partners, marketing, and referrals.
• Create account plans and multithread across CISOs, security and IT teams, procurement, and executive sponsors.
• Lead technical evaluations, develop quantified business cases, negotiate, and close complex multi year agreements.
• Work across Sales Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and partners while maintaining accurate forecasts and CRM data.
