Job summary

The Dixon Group in Chestertown, MD is seeking an AI Solutions & Automation Engineer to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of our enterprise AI platform, automated workflows, and agentic solutions. You will partner with leaders across operations, engineering, and IT to identify opportunities, design and deploy scalable AI agents, and ensure governance, safety, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years software development in a business environment.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining production AI solutions and intelligent workflows.
• Strong familiarity with agentic AI architectures and data compliance frameworks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and related Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value AI opportunities with business units and leadership across operations, sales, and IT.
• Conduct process analyses and audits to determine where AI agents can yield productivity gains.
• Translate needs into technical designs, prioritizing value, feasibility, and complexity.
• Design, build and deploy autonomous AI-powered single-agent and multi-agent systems for complex workflows.
• Develop and optimize Copilot Studio agents and AI-powered workflows; integrate with ERP/CRM/SQL/SharePoint/Teams.
