Job summary

Weyerhaeuser seeks a Senior AI Architect to define and evangelize enterprise AI architectures spanning ML, generative AI, and intelligent agents. You will establish reference architectures, scalable patterns, and governance to enable secure, cost-aware AI across timberlands, wood products, and corporate functions.

The role requires 10+ years designing enterprise-scale solutions, deep AI tech knowledge, and strong communication with executive and technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• 10+ years of experience designing and delivering technology solutions on edge, cloud, and data platforms.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies including ML, generative AI, and intelligent agents across major enterprise ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise AI architecture, reference architectures, and standards.
• Guide platform strategy for ML, gen AI, intelligent agents, and optimization.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews and engineering standards.
• Partner with business, product, data, and security teams to align AI capabilities with enterprise platforms.
• Embed Responsible AI principles across the lifecycle with governance and observability.
