Job summary

The E.W. Scripps Company is seeking a Lead AI Architect to design and implement enterprise-scale AI solutions with a strong engineering foundation. You will own architectures for agentic workflows, MCP servers, and multi-model orchestration, and drive integration with AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and Anthropic.

You will guide teams on RAG patterns, vector databases, observability, security, and responsible AI while collaborating with product and platform teams to deliver scalable, secure systems.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer or related discipline or equivalent years of experience.
• 8+ years in related field preferred.
• Experience in AI/agent development strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and own AI solution architectures spanning agentic workflows and multi-model orchestration.
• Lead RAG architectures and vector database strategies for enterprise data retrieval.
• Integrate with major model providers and define standards for model routing and fallback.
• Establish patterns for AI observability, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks.
