Job summary

The E.W. Scripps Company is seeking a Lead AI Architect to design and implement enterprise-scale AI solutions with a strong engineering foundation.

You will drive agentic workflows, RAG architectures, MCP servers, and tool integrations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable AI platforms. You will mentor engineers, establish AI engineering best practices, and ensure responsible AI standards, including security and compliance considerations, across the software

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer or related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred.
• Generally, 8+ years of experience in related field preferred.
• Experience in AI/agent development strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and own AI solution architectures spanning agentic workflows and multi-model orchestration.
• Lead the design and deployment of complex RAG architectures and vector database strategies.
• Architect and implement MCP servers and tool integrations with advanced function calling.
