Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an AI Architect to define the enterprise AI strategy and architecture, aligning with business goals, data governance, and enterprise architecture. You will lead, mentor, and guide teams across the organization on AI opportunities and architecture standards.

Based in a hybrid role, location in Memphis or nearby, you will shape reference architectures, evaluate AI platforms, and partner with senior leaders to drive scalable AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define the overarching AI strategy and architecture for the enterprise.
• Develop and maintain the enterprise AI architecture, including reference architectures and design patterns.
• Define the strategy for AI platforms, tools, and infrastructure.
• Lead evaluation and selection of foundational AI technologies and partners.
• Provide expert consultation to business units on AI potential.
• Govern AI solution implementations to adhere to standards and best practices.
• Mentor technical talent and act as a thought leader.
