Job summary

7N is seeking a Senior AI Platform Architect to define target architectures for an enterprise-grade AI agent platform. You will design single-agent and multi-agent systems, establish governance and security standards, and drive observability and cost attribution across a regulated environment.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to implement RAG, tool integration, and memory management. This role emphasizes hands-on coding and architectural leadership in fast-changing AI landscapes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering production-grade AI, GenAI, or LLM-based solutions.
• Strong software engineering background with Python, APIs, distributed systems, testing, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, Langflow, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or similar.
• Deep understanding of LLM integration, prompt engineering, tool calling, context management, and model orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with RAG architectures, vector search, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval strategies.
• Strong cloud architecture experience, ideally within AWS environments.
• Understanding of AI security risks and governance principles.
• Experience designing scalable, multi-tenant enterprise platforms.
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, evaluation, and operational aspects of AI systems.
• Experience working in regulated environments is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Define the target architecture and technical standards for AI agents across the platform.
• Design single-agent and multi-agent systems, orchestration patterns, RAG solutions, tool integration, memory management, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Establish best practices covering the entire agent lifecycle: development, testing, deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and versioning.
• Define security, governance, access control, and multi-tenant isolation standards.
• Design integrations with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, knowledge platforms, and AI services.
• Support engineering teams with complex agentic use cases and architectural decisions.
• Drive observability standards, including tracing, logging, monitoring, latency tracking, and cost attribution.
• Contribute to platform roadmap decisions by evaluating emerging AI frameworks, models, and technologies.
• Improve developer experience through templates, documentation, reference implementations, and tooling.
