Job summary

AustinWorks is actively seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own the end-to-end deployment of production AI agents with strategic design partners. You will embed directly with customers, understand their workflows, and deliver measurable business outcomes with high ownership across engineering, product, and customer success.

In this role you will ship production solutions, iterate quickly based on real-world feedback, and help shape the broader product and AI roadmap.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in full‑stack or forward‑deployed engineering.
• Strong software foundations from growth-stage tech or AI teams.
• Proven track record shipping production AI agents or agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and improve AI agents for account strategy, prospecting, and outreach workflows.
• Embed with customers through shared channels and rapid iteration sessions.
• Translate feedback into production code and measurable business outcomes.
• Build reliable agents capable of handling complex knowledge-work tasks.
• Design evaluation systems and trust calibration for production agents.
• Troubleshoot customer environments and ship timely improvements.
• Own deployment outcomes end-to-end, including adoption and impact.
• Communicate across sales, product, and engineering teams.
• Surface recurring customer needs to influence roadmap.
