About the role

The ideal candidate is a high-performing sales executive looking for the next step in their career as an Enterprise Sales Account Executive (AE) for RoadFlex.

Specifically, as an enterprise sales AE on our growing team, you will manage the sales process through customer qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation, and closing.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a demonstrated track record of success in developing and implementing a comprehensive hunting strategy in the enterprise technology and SaaS space, ideally with exposure in the fleet or fuel management and telematics industry.

Additionally, through voice-of-the-customer, you will participate in developing the company's overall market strategy and provide input to product development teams based on feedback from the field.

What you’ll do

  • As an expert, you will leverage a consultative, solution-based selling approach to sign new customers and win new business
  • Quarterback the entire strategic sales process in an assigned region
  • Continuously develop, grow, and manage a healthy sales pipeline by leveraging existing relationships and implementing a strategic and targeted cold calling/outreach approach
  • Learn about what's important to prospective clients and their teams and highlight how our solution can make their lives easier while driving successful outcomes for their organization
  • Use your extensive knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop unique selling propositions with key differentiators
  • Oversee proposal development and delivery, including coordinating and facilitating multi- stakeholder responses to RFQs, RFPs, and SOWs
  • Leverage your outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Collaborate with the head of sales to formalize a creative and strategic “business plan” and execute a go-to-market strategy that will drive revenue growth for RoadFlex
  • Collaborate with peer AE’s and team members on key learnings and successes from field experiences and wins

Professional Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, successfully selling SaaS solutions to c-suite or executive teams
  • A proven track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas while targeting and winning new business
  • Possess a go-getter attitude! Enthusiastic, consultative, thoughtful, and empathetic in your professional interactions and communications with customers and teammates
  • Operates with attention to detail and exhibits high ethical standards at all times
  • Hunts with a drive to win and close highly complex enterprise-size fleets
  • Works well with cross-functional teams and performs in a fast-paced, fun, sales-oriented environment
  • An existing Rolodex of target accounts is a plus
  • Challenger-sales methodology skills are a plus
  • Experience working with enterprise sales tools (CRMs) is a plus
  • This is a remote position and requires the ability to travel as needed (up to ~50%), domestic travel.
  • Has to be based out of the East Coast of the United States.
  • We prefer candidates that actively hold leadreship positions at industry associations.
