Enterprise Account Executive
AI / B2B SaaS Sales | New York City | On-site
About the Company
We are representing a high-growth AI software company building a new approach to customer and market research. Its platform uses AI to help enterprise teams conduct qualitative research, analyze customer conversations, identify themes, and turn feedback into actionable insights significantly faster than traditional research methods.
The business is seeing strong adoption across large organizations and has built a compelling land-and-expand motion around a differentiated, product-led platform. The team combines experience across leading technology, AI, finance, and high-growth startup environments.
The Role
This is an opportunity to join the commercial team as an Enterprise Account Executive, owning new business and expansion across upper mid-market and enterprise accounts.
You will manage complex, consultative sales cycles from initial prospecting through discovery, demonstration, business case development, negotiation, and close. The role combines inbound opportunity with proactive outbound pipeline generation, and is well suited to an AE who enjoys multi-threaded enterprise selling rather than transactional sales.
You will work closely with revenue leadership and partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering as the company continues to scale its enterprise go-to-market motion.
What You'll Do
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.
- Build and maintain a consistent outbound pipeline through targeted outreach, cold calling, referrals, industry events, and account research.
- Manage and convert inbound opportunities generated through strong product adoption and market interest.
- Run discovery sessions and product demonstrations tailored to the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Navigate consultative, multi-threaded sales processes across complex enterprise organizations.
- Develop compelling proposals, ROI cases, and commercial narratives that create urgency and demonstrate business value.
- Negotiate commercial terms and move qualified opportunities efficiently through the sales process.
- Identify expansion opportunities and grow successful initial engagements into larger enterprise relationships.
- Maintain disciplined deal management, forecasting, CRM hygiene, and pipeline visibility.
- Help improve the sales organization's processes, messaging, presentations, meeting frameworks, CRM workflows, and reporting.
- Partner with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure a strong customer experience throughout the sales process.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS closing experience.
- Demonstrated success selling into enterprise or upper mid-market organizations.
- A track record of closing meaningful mid-five-figure and six-figure software contracts.
- Experience running complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong discovery skills and the ability to translate customer problems into a compelling business case.
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and commercial communication skills.
- Comfortable generating your own pipeline while also managing inbound opportunities.
- Strong negotiation and deal-management capabilities.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable owning opportunities end-to-end.
- Experience performing in demanding, high-growth technology sales environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling AI, data, research, customer insights, or workflow software.
- Experience with land-and-expand enterprise sales motions.
- Exposure to product-led growth environments.
- Experience working closely with technical Product and Engineering teams during enterprise sales cycles.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Why This Role Is Exciting
- Own meaningful enterprise deals: Run sophisticated sales cycles with the opportunity to close substantial initial contracts and expand them over time.
- Strong product pull: Join a business where product adoption and customer interest are already helping create enterprise opportunities.
- Build as well as sell: Have a voice in shaping sales process, messaging, operating rhythm, and go-to-market execution.
- High level of ownership: Manage deals from first engagement through close and subsequent expansion.
- Work closely with leadership: Operate with significant visibility and collaborate closely with the company's revenue leadership.
- Sell an emerging AI category: Represent a product applying AI to a large, established business workflow that has traditionally been slow and resource-intensive.
- Cross-functional exposure: Work directly with commercial, customer, product, and engineering teams as the organization scales.

- Based in New York City.
- Five days per week in-office.
