Position summary

Weave.AI is hiring an enterprise Account Executive to build and own the enterprise sales cycle. This person sells a neuro-symbolic, agentic AI platform for risk and decision intelligence to the most senior buyers at banks, asset managers, insurers, and global enterprises - Chief Risk Officers, Chief Audit Executives and audit committees, CISOs, Heads of Risk, and board members. Critically, this is not a per-seat software sale: Weave.AI sells outcomes, insights, and services that map to regulatory exposure, internal audit, and risk governance, often quantified against the cost of a fine or a consulting engagement rather than a competing product. The deals are large, consultative, multi-threaded, and ongoing - running through technical validation, regulatory alignment, security review, and executive sponsorship, then expanding across use cases and entities over time. This is a founding seller reporting directly to the CEO who will build the initial sales culture and, over time, hire a small team beneath them - not a quota-carrier slotted into an existing function.

What this person will do

Own the full enterprise sales cycle end to end - prospecting and qualifying strategic accounts, running consultative discovery, leading executive and board-level conversations, working procurement, legal, compliance, and security review, and closing seven- and eight-figure ARR deals. Position Weave.AI as a strategic risk-intelligence partner rather than a feature set, quantifying value in the terms these buyers care about: capital efficiency, regulatory exposure, and risk mitigation.

Build relationships that span risk, technology, finance, audit, and operations inside each account, cultivate executive and board-level sponsors, and map the buying committees that decide deals of this size. Treat the sale as ongoing rather than transactional - staying engaged on value delivery, measuring outcomes, and expanding from an initial use case into adjacent ones and additional entities (the land-and-expand path that has already turned early footholds into materially larger engagements). Work closely with the CEO/Founder, Marketing, and the product team to sharpen the ideal customer profile, shape vertical strategy, and feed the field's signal back into positioning. Operate like an owner - rigorous pipeline and forecasting discipline, predictable pipeline generation, a playbook built from scratch, and the foundation of a sales culture the next hires will inherit.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of quota-carrying enterprise sales - selling complex, high-value technical, AI, or data products to large organizations.
  • Proven closes of seven-figure ARR deals, with the credibility and command to lead a ten-million-dollar pursuit at a tier-one financial institution and the ambition to grow into eight-figure engagements.
  • Multi-threaded, multi-stakeholder sales cycles of 90 to 180-plus days that run through procurement, legal, security, and regulatory review.
  • High intellectual horsepower and curiosity - the ability to learn a genuinely new technical paradigm and make it clear to skeptical, sophisticated buyers.
  • Comfort building in ambiguity: generating pipeline without a brand tailwind, building process where none exists, and operating as a founding hire who reports to the CEO. Just as important, the instinct to sell outcomes and services rather than software - staying engaged on value delivery rather than closing and handing off.
  • Strong executive presence and the standing to engage the C-suite as a peer.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, and a data-driven approach to pipeline and forecasting.
What strengthens a candidacy
  • Selling into asset managers, global banks, insurers, hedge funds, or other large enterprises with formal risk functions, with direct experience of CRO, CFO, CISO, Head of Risk, and Internal Audit buyers.
  • Familiarity with credit, market, and counterparty risk; Basel III, FRTB, IFRS 9, CECL; DORA, ICT, and third-party risk; enterprise GRC and RegTech.
  • Selling AI, ML, or data platforms, and comfort with proof-of-concept and technical validation cycles.
  • Series A to C startup experience - building pipeline without a brand and standing up process from scratch.
