We are seeking an Account Director for our growing Enterprise team. As a relatively new division, the enterprise team manages and expands programmatic revenue with holding company and enterprise brand clients.

The Account Director will lead sales efforts, driving growth by acquiring new business and nurturing key client relationships. Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, focusing on new account acquisition and expanding existing partnerships to meet revenue targets.

A successful candidate is a results-driven, proactive hunter with a focus on opening new doors and securing new business. You will work closely with Account Managers to grow and retain accounts by tailoring campaign strategies, building strong relationships, and delivering impactful results. The primary goal is to fuel company growth through new business development and long-term client partnerships.

StackAdapt is a remote-first company, prioritizing candidates on the West Coast for this role.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Prospecting and targeting new brands in untapped markets to fill the sales pipeline with high-quality prospects.
  2. Responding to RFPs and new agency opportunities, including qualification and win strategies.
  3. Building relationships with top executives at advertising agencies and their brands.
  4. Engaging in product development discussions based on client feedback with senior stakeholders across departments.
  5. Managing existing client relations and seeking growth opportunities.
  6. Partnering with Account Managers to present new campaign strategies and solutions.
  7. Demonstrating the benefits of StackAdapt's media buying platform through detailed demos.
  8. Managing and communicating quarterly forecasts and pipeline.

Qualifications:

  1. 5-10+ years experience in DSP, SSP, publisher, ad network, ad server, or digital agency roles.
  2. Proven success in building and executing sales strategies, developing new business, and driving growth.
  3. Deep understanding of client business goals and translating programmatic solutions to meet sales targets.
  4. Strong network and relationships with decision-makers in advertising agencies and brands.
  5. Solutions-oriented approach to understanding and addressing customer challenges.
  6. Deep knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem and DSP dynamics.
  7. Willingness to travel for client meetings and presentations.
  8. Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  9. Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to excellence.
  10. Track record of exceeding revenue expectations.
  11. Experience selling programmatic advertising.
