Job summary

University of Washington in Seattle is seeking a Teaching Associate | Advanced Practice Provider in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (UWMC Montlake). The role provides perioperative support and continuity of care for Head and Neck Cancer patients in inpatient and clinic settings.

The APP will hold a Teaching Associate faculty position with a July 1–June 30 service period, start Feb 1, 2027. Mentorship and opportunities to gain ENT skills are offered for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current and valid state licensure as an ARNP or PA-C.
• Nationally Certified ARNP/PA-C with DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex initial assessment, screening, evaluation, management, and follow-up for Otolaryngology patients.
• Participate in interdisciplinary evaluation and follow-up using clinical guidelines.
• Perform procedures per licensure and scope of practice including wound assessment, nasal endoscopy, and cerumen removal.
• Collaborate with ENT team, PCPs, and other providers for care continuity.
• Attend multidisciplinary tumor board and team meetings.
