The University of Washington Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery is seeking one full-time ARNP or PA at the rank of Teaching Associate. The APP deployed to UWMC Montlake is part of a tertiary Otolaryngology-HNS team.

This APP will provide perioperative support and continuity of care for Head and Neck Cancer with inpatient and clinic responsibilities. New graduates are welcome to apply; start date is February 1, 2027.

Competenze

• Graduate degree as NP/PA (required).
• Current and valid state licensure as ARNP or PA-C (or foreign equivalent).
• National certification (ARNP/PA-C) with DEA.
• Demonstrated excellence in interdisciplinary team environments.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and clinical care skills.

Mansioni

• Provide complex and problem-focused initial assessment, screening/diagnostic evaluation, management, and follow-up with otolaryngology patients.
• Participate in interdisciplinary evaluation, management, and follow-up using clinical guidelines.
• Evaluate and manage urgent issues.
• Perform procedures within licensure and scope (e.g., wound assessment, sino-nasal endoscopy, flexible laryngoscopy, cerumen removal).
• Collaborate with ENT team, PCPs, and other providers for continuity of care.
• Attend multidisciplinary tumor board and team meetings.
• Inpatient consults; Post-operative visits; Provide patient, caregiver and peer education.

Formazione

Graduate Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
