Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program.
• Current and valid licensure as an ARNP or PA in Washington State.
• Nationally certified ARNP/PA-C with DEA.
• Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; pulmonary/critical care or related procedural specialty preferred; bedside procedures training/credentialing available.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate and manage patients in the Lung Nodule Clinic.
• Complete pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure follow-up for bronchoscopic and pleural procedures.
• Coordinate care with the IP physician, scheduler, and procedural suite staff.
• Serve as a liaison between procedural suite staff and IP attending to support setup and workflow for scheduled cases.
• Opportunities exist for training and credentialing in bedside procedures such as thoracentesis and chest tube placement.
