Job summary

University of Florida Jacksonville Physicians, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider III (APP III) to deliver direct patient care in subspecialty outpatient and/or inpatient settings under physician supervision in Florida/Georgia.

The role involves high-acuity patient management, procedures, and education to staff and learners. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program) and APRN/PA licensure, with BLS required and ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires licensure as APRN/PA in FL and/or GA.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Must be able to supervise and collaborate with physicians and other clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in clinic and/or inpatient settings.
• Performs or assists with high-complexity procedures.
• Develops comprehensive health management plans with multidisciplinary team.
• Documents clinical information timely in EMR and ensures compliance with billing guidelines.
• Potential travel up to 25% as needed.
• Education and counsels patients and families on health maintenance.
