Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City is seeking a Patient Scheduling Associate for ENT days. This on-site role works in a high-volume call center to schedule new and follow-up appointments, register insurance, and support patients with MyChart and check-in processes.

You will verify demographics and insurance, assist with pre-certifications, and coordinate complex itineraries while maintaining patient confidentiality and providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Six months direct customer service in a health care field preferred.
• College coursework towards an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree desired.
• 1+ year direct customer service in a health care, hospital or contact center environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers high-volume patient calls and schedules appointments following provider orders.
• Verifies patient demographics and insurance information; assists with insurance registration.
• Supports check-in and MyChart activation and patient communication while maintaining confidentiality.
