Job summary

Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary, part of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team. This onsite position supports intraoperative care and collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists.

We offer a 24-hour weekly schedule at the Boston site with competitive benefits and a focus on patient safety, sterile technique, and teamwork. High school diploma required; BLS/CST preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Licenses and Credentials: BLS Certification and CST preferred; Dental Assistant license and NH Medical Technician license preferred.
• Experience: 0–1 year as Surgical Technologist required; 1–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during procedures.
• Prepare the operating room and sterilize supplies.
• Transport and position patients safely.
• Pass instruments and maintain instrument counts.
• Maintain documentation of surgical procedures and counts.
• Collaborate with the surgical team.
