Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Athens, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time Ear Nose & Throat (ENT) Certified Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will support physicians with administrative tasks and clinical duties to keep patient flow smooth and safe.

The ideal candidate has a CMA or RMA certification, EMR and Microsoft Office proficiency, BLS within 14 days of hire, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
• Current CMA or RMA certification.
• Basic EMR and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician.
• Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
• Clinical duties may include rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
