Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant for our ENT Clinic. Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, you will assist with patient intake, document vitals, and support in-office procedures.

Ideal candidates hold a CMA with active certification (AAMA/NCCT/NHA), BLS, and excellent English communication. This on-site role offers a collaborative team and opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Must be CMA with active certification from AAMA/NCCT/NHA.
• Aware of cleaning standards and performs in accordance with them.
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
• English communication skills for safe patient care and documentation.
• Willingness to participate in goal-setting and ongoing professional development.
• Is aware of standard and performs in accordance with them.
• Previous experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vital signs.
• Administer injections and perform venipuncture and urinalysis.
• Perform EKG testing and assist with in-office procedures.
• Set up and clean procedure rooms and discard biohazard waste.
• Stock supplies and ensure aseptic technique.
• Adhere to standard precautions and order of draw.
• Communicate with patients in English to ensure safe care.
