Job summary

UT Health East Texas's Three Lakes Ear Nose & Throat clinic in Tyler, TX is hiring a day-shift, full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). You will perform both administrative and clinical tasks under physician supervision, contributing to efficient patient flow and accurate documentation.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and current CMA licensure; BLS within 14 days of hire is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current licensure as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician.
• Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
• Clinical duties may include rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
