Job summary

Texas A&M University in Dallas area seeks a technical/data analyst to analyze business processes, document requirements, and support Enrollment Management & Student Affairs systems including CRM and SIS. You will validate data, develop dashboards, and assist with system integrations and upgrades.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, 1+ year of relevant experience, and strong SQL/data analysis skills. Experience with Banner, Element451, Salesforce and ETL tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related STEM field.
• Four months of experience as a technical analyst, data analyst, or programmer/DBA.
• At least 1 year of experience in a business technical analyst, data analyst, or programmer/DBA role.
• Proficient in SQL and data analysis with experience supporting large relational databases.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, workflows, and system functionality to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional/technical specs.
• Support implementation, configuration, enhancement, and optimization of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs systems (CRM, SIS, admissions, engagement, student success).
• Analyze and validate data across systems; support data reconciliation, mapping, migration, and governance.
• Develop reports, dashboards, business rules, data definitions, and analytical solutions.
