Student-Facing Support
  • Respond to inbound phone calls, emails, virtual inquiries, and in-person visits related to enrollment and student support services.
  • Provide accurate, courteous, and professional assistance regarding admissions, registration, advising pathways, financial aid navigation, early college processes, and veteran-related enrollment support.
  • Build rapport with students through respectful, solution-oriented communication.
  • Accurately document student interactions in designated systems in accordance with institutional standards.
Enrollment & Records Support
  • Assist students with admissions and onboarding processes, residency determination, placement, course selection, and registration changes.
  • Support the preparation, processing, and maintenance of student records, forms, and correspondence.
  • Handle sensitive student information in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Flexible Assignment & Operational Support
  • Provide support across enrollment and student support functions, including admissions processing, advising support, early college services, veteran-related enrollment activities, and other student-facing operations as assigned.
  • Adjust assignments based on enrollment cycles, service demand, and staffing needs.
  • Support onboarding, orientation, outreach, and retention-related activities through follow-up and communication as directed.
Quality, Documentation & Follow-Up
  • Process records, reports, and documentation with attention to accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify recurring issues or service barriers and elevate concerns to supervisory leadership as appropriate.
  • Complete follow-up actions to ensure student inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Maintain productivity, quality, and service standards established by the department.
Collaboration & Professional Practice
  • Work collaboratively with Admissions, Advising, Early College, Veteran Services, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Instruction to support coordinated student services.
  • Participate in training, cross-training, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Provide informal peer support to new staff as assigned.
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature or level consistent with the scope of the position.
Cash Handling
  • Responsible for accurate cash handling, including receiving funds from student clubs, fundraisers, tuition, and other departmental activities.
  • Performs daily cash reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accurately documented, balanced and submitted for review.
  • Maintains detailed records and promptly addresses discrepancies to support strong fiscal responsibility.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Two (2) years or more of experience in an office setting
  • Any combination of education and experience that results in possession of skills, knowledge and behaviors as outlined in the position's core competencies below.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in a community college or higher education setting.
  • Multilingual/Spanish speaking encouraged to apply.
