Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in Louisville, KY is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support the student experience as the first point of contact for prospective and current students via phone, email, and web chat.

You will handle enrollment questions, schedule campus appointments, and guide students through the enrollment process, providing courteous, accurate information consistent with Galen’s values. This role emphasizes teamwork and strong communication in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in customer service may be accepted in lieu of education.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a customer experience-based environment.
• Computer proficient with Microsoft Office; strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Able to maintain a customer-friendly demeanor and flexible hours including evenings and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Answer multiple incoming calls from prospective and active students to share detailed information and schedule appointments for all campuses.
• Ensure all student questions are answered and/or followed up with in a timely manner.
• Utilize Web Chat functionality to communicate directly with students.
• Develop a full understanding of the enrollment process within the college to provide accurate information to all inquiries.
• Provide exceptional customer service and outcomes that relate to Galen College of Nursing’s culture and core values.
• Other duties, as assigned, and logically associated with the goals and objectives of the College.
