Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a professional work setting, ideally in higher education.
• A valid California Class C driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Note: Out-of-state licenses are valid until appointment; a CA license must be obtained within ten days of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively about the value of a liberal arts and science education.
• Represents the university at high schools, college fairs, and community-based organizations locally and if needed, throughout the country.
• Guides prospective students through the admissions process via telephone, email, print, virtual and in-person communication throughout the admissions cycle.
• Manages a recruitment territory and enrolls students.
• Conducts interviews and information sessions on campus for prospective students and families.
• Organizes and participates in on- and off-campus admissions events throughout the year.
