Job summary

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions to lead undergraduate recruitment, overseeing transfer, military, low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented prospective students. You will supervise staff, coordinate partnerships with high schools, community programs, and community colleges, and advise on recruitment strategies.

Reporting to the Associate Director, you will analyze data, set priorities, and ensure goals are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus two years in education, business, communication, or related field.
  • Ability to clearly communicate via written and spoken forums. Supervisory or similar experiences.
  • Data analysis and ability to make decisions based upon data. Public speaking experience.
  • Excellent communications skills. Strong interpersonal skills . Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate undergraduate recruitment efforts for transfer, military, and underrepresented students.
  • Supervise multiple staff and advise campus partners on recruitment strategies.
  • Develop partnerships with high schools, community programs, and community colleges.
  • Analyze enrollment data and report findings to management.
