Job summary

GT Independence is seeking a coordinator to manage enrollment processes for individuals in self-direction programs. You will work with the person served and their support network to complete enrollment, verify documents, and ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements.

The role includes outreach to community partners to support enrollment growth and improve service accessibility, contributing to a person-centered approach and independent living goals.

Qualifications

• One year of related field experience required.
• Experience with enrollment processes and documentation is preferred.
• Knowledge of administrative procedures and HIPAA compliance is beneficial.

• Ensures enrollment documents are complete and accurate.
• Suggests process improvements to prevent issues and enhance service experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts the enrollment process with the person served and their circle of support (i.e., families, guardians) in a timely manner.
• Ensures enrollment documents are complete and accurate.
• Recommends improvements to internal process/systems to prevent future issues and to enhance service experience.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Performs external outreach to community partners, referral sources, and stakeholders to support enrollment growth and enhance service accessibility.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related field
• Associate degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or Human Services/Social Work, or Marketing/Communication is preferred.
• Will consider candidates with experience relevant to the position.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and terminology.
