Job summary

GT Independence is seeking an Enrollment Specialist to manage the enrollment process for individuals in self-direction programs. You will coordinate with the person served and their support circle, ensuring documentation is complete and compliant with HIPAA.

The role includes outreach to community partners to grow enrollment and improve access to services. The position requires 1 year of related experience and an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Services/Social Work, or

• Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems such as filing, word processing, and records management.

• Ensure enrollment documents are complete and accurate.
• Suggest improvements to internal processes to prevent issues and improve service experience.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

• Conducts the enrollment process with the person served and their circle of support (i.e., families, guardians) in a timely manner.
• Ensures enrollment documents are complete and accurate.
• Recommends improvements to internal process/systems to prevent future issues and to enhance service experience.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Performs external outreach to community partners, referral sources, and stakeholders to support enrollment growth and enhance service accessibility.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related field
• Associate degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or Human Services/Social Work, or Marketing/Communication is preferred.
• Will consider candidates with experience relevant to the position.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and terminology.
