Providence Health Plan is calling an Enrollment Services Specialist Remote who will:

  • Educate and assist community members in obtaining and retaining health coverage

  • Be required to become a certified application assister for The Oregon Health Plan

  • Participate in education and outreach activities, material creation and scheduling of appointments

  • Work with the state Coordinated Care Organizations (CCO's), Oregon Health Authority (OHA) Staff, Oregon Health Insurance Marketplace (OHIM) and other local agencies to support the company's Community Partner activities

Please note the following important details regarding this position:

  • There may be in state travel required with this position

  • Weekend work is a possibility at times

  • Experience speaking, reading and writing communications fluently in both Spanish and English is strongly preferred

  • This position is affiliated with Providence Health Plan and will be tied to a location and compensation range in Salem, Oregon

Providence Health Plan welcomes 100% remote work for residents who reside in the following States:

  • Oregon

  • Washington

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • 4+ years of customer service experience preferably in a social service, health insurance or Medicaid capacity

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience

  • 2+ years of experience working directly with community-based programs specializing in the Medicaid market

  • 5+ years of experience speaking, reading and writing communications in both Spanish and English, strongly preferred
