Position Title: Customer Service Specialist - Overnight/Weekend Support

Department: Scheduling Dept

Reports To: Call Center Manager

Schedule: Full Time - 36 hours; Friday- Sunday 12 hour shifts

Salary Range: $20-22/hour

Founded in 2010, located in Portland, Oregon, Linguava is a full-service language service provider with an expertise in comprehensive, responsive, and high-quality language access for patients, providers, families and coordinated care organizations.

As our remote Customer Service Specialist in the Scheduling Department, we are looking for a person with several key administrative skills including efficient time management, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling and resolving email requests from a dedicated client and interpreters related to scheduling, as the first point of contact.

  • Assisting in answering clients/interpreters calls, when needed.

  • Efficiently input data & maintain accurate database information.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as requested by leads, Assistant Manager, or Scheduling Manager.

  • Manage all inbound interpreter calls and inquiries.

  • Manage all inbound interpreter calls, emails and securing interpreters to cover appointments.

  • Managing all of the appointments for a dedicated client by meeting both Linguava and client service levels for securing interpreters to the appointments.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Possess the ability to handle stressful and challenging situations in a calm and professional manner while working with internal and external clients

  • Professional communication skills; verbal and written

  • Proficiency with standard software applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), and familiarity with other web-based applications

  • Ability to excel in a demanding, dynamic, and team-based working environment

Experience Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in customer service

  • 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced office environment

  • Exceptional data entry & accuracy skills

  • Professional verbal & written communication skills

  • Organized & motivated with excellent follow-through, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

  • Ability to work independently while remaining an effective and efficient member of cross-functional teams

  • Ability to analyze problems and develop processes to alleviate problems
