Job summary

Camino Nuevo Charter Academy in Los Angeles seeks a part-time Student Recruitment & Enrollment Assistant to lead community outreach and enrollment coordination. You will manage outreach activities, attend events, and support families through application and lottery processes.

Under supervision of the Director of Strategic Enrollment, you will track data, maintain relationships with schools and community partners, and help build a strong enrollment pipeline across CNCA campuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s Degree or two years of college is preferred, plus one year of related outreach experience.
• Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
• Driver's license and insurance minimums per CA rules are required for operation of a vehicle.
• Experience in teamwork and cross-team collaboration.
• Experience with SchoolMint, PowerSchool, and Canva is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and outreach to drive enrollment across CNCA campuses.
• Conduct door-to-door canvassing and street-level outreach to engage prospective families.
• Represent Camino Nuevo at community events, school fairs, and local partnerships.
• Coordinate weekly outreach and enrollment events; align with recruitment priorities.
• Guide families through the application, lottery, and registration process with clarity.
• Track outreach efforts and enrollment data; generate weekly reports.
• Provide high-touch, relationship-centered support to families.
