Texas A&M University in Houston invites applications for Assistant Program Director of Enrollment Management. This role provides operational leadership for student registration, scheduling, records, and enrollment reporting to ensure compliant and efficient processes within EnMed.

Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management, the position requires strong supervisory and collaboration skills, experience in enrollment operations, and the ability to work beyond standard hours

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for the role.
• Six years of progressively responsible enrollment management and related experience, including staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• Register and oversee all student registration processes, including term activation, course enrollment, add/drop, registration, and grading compliance.
• Ensure accurate enrollment status reporting per university, state, and accreditation requirements.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for enrollment workflows.
• Serve as primary operational resource for students and internal stakeholders on policies and processes.
• Coordinate academic scheduling with faculty and leadership to support the integrated curriculum.
• Oversee class scheduling creation, maintenance, and publication for optimal resource use.
• Lead records management with FERPA compliance and official record maintenance.
• Collaborate with offices on transcript production and enrollment verification.
• Utilize student information systems (Banner, Elantra) for data integrity and reporting.
• Conduct regular audits and support accreditation and internal reporting efforts.
• Supervise staff, foster accountability and service excellence, and support cross-functional partnerships.
• Partner with student affairs, academic affairs, admissions, financial aid, and central registrar functions.
