Enrollment & Intake Specialist

Pay: $21.00–$22.75 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Location: St. Joseph, MO
Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite

We are seeking an Enrollment & Intake Specialist to work onsite within a healthcare environment in St. Joseph, Missouri.

In this role, you will advocate for patients and their families while working closely with hospital personnel and government agencies to determine eligibility for Medicaid, Social Security Disability, and various county assistance programs. You will serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare staff, and government entities to help secure available funding for healthcare services.

• Knowledge of HIPAA and HITECH patient confidentiality requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.


• Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate standard office equipment, including computers, keyboards, phones, photocopiers, and calculators.


• Ability to communicate effectively and prepare and review reports and documentation.


• Ability to occasionally lift papers, files, or boxes weighing up to 15 pounds.


• Work is performed onsite within a hospital or healthcare facility. Occasional travel to other offices or facilities may be required.
