Job summary

South University is seeking an Admissions Representative in the United States to recruit qualified applicants for admission in line with accreditation and institutional policies. The role requires high-volume prospective phone contacts to secure appointments and coordinate with Student Support Services to ensure students matriculate.

Responsibilities include explaining programs and financing to students, parents, and educators; managing inquiries to meet weekly goals; scheduling interviews;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and one year of successful admissions or sales experience, OR associate’s degree and three years of successful admissions or sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Explain educational programs, outcomes, student services, and financial considerations to students, parents, and educators.
• Manage inquiries to achieve prompt contact and meet weekly performance goals; utilize approved recruitment policies; redirect unqualified candidates.
• Secure new inquiries (Personally Developed Referrals) by asking for referrals.
• Schedule and conduct interviews, pursue qualified candidates for enrollment, assess enrollment suitability.
• Forecast projected new students for admissions leadership.
• Conduct monthly follow-ups with all applicants to ensure matriculation.
• Assist other personnel with data collection and problem-solving.
• Participate in recruitment activities including open houses, regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, career days, and employer partnerships.
• Other duties as assigned.
