Job summary

Western Growers is seeking an Eligibility Specialist I to support enrollment and billing for Child Care Providers United through the CCPU Portal and HCPS. You will advise providers on eligibility and reimbursement, ensuring accuracy and excellent service.

Responsibilities include processing enrollment changes, maintaining audit-ready records, and resolving billing discrepancies with a HIPAA-conscious approach. Fluency in Spanish is required to support diverse providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years of accounting/business experience preferred.
• Knowledge of health care eligibility and billing procedures, HIPAA/ERISA legislation.
• Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn a proprietary system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain eligibility for CCPU accounts, including electronic submissions.
• Process enrollment and billing transactions in HCPS per policy statements and guidelines.
• Produce spreadsheets and reports for audit; resolve billing discrepancies and authorize refunds.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant workstation and protect confidential data.
• Meet processing cycle times and contribute to process improvements annually.
