Job summary

HealthNet is seeking an Outreach Enrollment Specialist for our Bloomington center to educate and assist with enrollment for uninsured residents. The role focuses on building community partnerships, guiding individuals through enrollment steps, and coordinating referrals to expand access to affordable health care.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree and Indiana Navigator Certification. Travel to HealthNet centers may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Indiana Navigator Certification preferred but can be obtained after hiring.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, ACA, HIP 2.0 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educate and enroll uninsured and underinsured individuals.
• Establish community partnerships and increase awareness of HealthNet services.
• Provide outreach and enrollment assistance for all uninsured individuals.
• Receive and follow up on referrals in a timely manner.
• Build relationships with groups and organizations to create referral opportunities.
• Participate in community events to promote HealthNet services.
• Attend all required trainings.
