Job summary

HealthNet is seeking an Outreach Enrollment Specialist to educate and assist with enrollment for uninsured and underinsured individuals in Indianapolis. This full-time role involves building community partnerships and following up on referrals to increase access to HealthNet’s services.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Indiana Navigator Certification is a plus and some travel to health centers will be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Indiana Navigator Certification is preferred but can be obtained after hiring.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, ACA, HIP 2.0 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educate and enroll uninsured and underinsured individuals and families.
• Establish community partnerships and raise awareness of HealthNet services.
• Travel to health centers and participate in community events.
• Receive and follow up on referrals in a timely manner.
• Work with multiple departments to support in-reach for patients.
