Job summary

Learning Care Group invites you to join a caring team. The Teacher assists the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily activities, supervises the class when needed, helps with meals and safety, and keeps the classroom clean and orderly.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Care for children following licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Maintain a fun, clean, and organized classroom.
• Supervise the classroom when the Lead Teacher is out of the room.
• Assist with meals and snack service, modeling table manners.
• Attend staff trainings, meetings and Center programs as required.
• Support safety and assist the Center Director as needed.

The Teacher helps the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing the daily program for children, supervises the class when the Lead is out of the room, helps with meals, safety and assists in maintaining a clean and orderly room and Center. May be assisted in the classroom by an Aide/Assistant Teacher.

Job Responsibilities:

• Are caring, compassionate and love what they do!
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
• Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Supervises the classroom, according to the plans of the Lead Teacher when the Lead is out of the room.
• Attends all staff training sessions, meetings and programs sponsored by the Center, as required.
• Helps with meal and snack preparation, feeding children, modeling table manners at family style meals.
• Performs other related duties as requested by a Lead Teacher or Center Director

Job Requirements:

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation range of $16.22-$16.85 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options
• Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401K (plus company match), life and disability insurance and child care discount available to all employees
• Monday-Friday work week
